Rental Boat

Common Questions

How does the gas work?

You are responsible to pay for the fuel used during your rental time. All rental boats leave the marina with a full tank. When your reservation is over, return to our fuel dock and our crew will refill the boat. You will be charged for the fuel used at this time. Fuel payment accepted at the dock.

I see reservations are non-refundable, what happens if there is inclement weather during our scheduled rental time?

Although reservations are non-refundable and must be settled in full at the time of reservation, if management should decide it is unsafe for you to be on a boat, you will be informed by Chautauqua Marina management, and we would give you a time credit for any time lost. Time credits can be rescheduled for the remainder of the current season and even for the following season. After that the credit expires.
